A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent disclosure of a uncommon leukemia diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Announces the Passing
Her passing was announced in a online announcement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Illness
Within a recently published piece in November, it was shared that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a specific genetic mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that originates in the blood and bone marrow.
Those close to her has requested privacy as they cope with their sorrow.
